Sonya Dunbar, AKA the Geriatric Toothfairy, is a Registered Dental Hygienist, TEDx speaker, and internationally recognized advocate for aging populations with over 30 years in dentistry. She co-owns Mobile Dental Xpress, delivering dental care to long-term care facilities, and is pursuing her Ph.D. in Gerontology. A Navy Veteran and Geriatric Oral Care Educator, Sonya is also a business coach, serial entrepreneur, and brand ambassador with a social media reach of over 100k.

She co-founded the National Mobile & Teledentistry Conference, the American Mobile & Teledentistry Alliance, and the Denobi Awards, and is behind the I Woman Podcast. Sonya is the author of Golden Nuggets for Life and co-author of several books on geriatric dental care and mobile dentistry. She’s a two-time national award winner and was honored with Geriatric Toothfairy Day on November 9th each year.
